Our Board of County Commissioners is broken
and
Only YOU, the voter, can fix it in 2008

I don’t say that lightly.  But, that is the comment that I hear throughout the county.  If you live in Hillsborough County, Florida your life and community are affected by the seven (7) Commissioners of our Board of County Commissioners.   Unfortunately, our Board of 7 is controlled by the “Gang of Four” commissioners.  Their “Pro-Developer” attitude and their (4) majority votes on issues are the leading causes of our most pressing problems.

They have a history of distracting us from their poor planning and “growth at all costs” attitude by giving us a few local things like intersection turn lanes and fresh road pavement.   But, it is at our expense that they borrow from our futures to feed their egos and short sightedness.  To them, its business as usual.

 My election to District 2 will remove one of those 4 commissioners, break up the “Gang of Four”, and begin to fix the Board by setting a new vision for our County.  I ask for your help in my campaign as the first step of restoring your Trust and changing our Board of County Commissioners

from “Pro-Developer” to “Pro-Community”.

I ask for your vote during the Primary election - August 26, 2008. That will be the voters’ day to hold the current District 2 Commissioner accountable for his past 6 years of poor performance.   We need a commissioner who is in touch with the community and has the needed mix of skills, experience and leadership.“

As your “Pro-Community” County Commissioner, I will represent everyone honestly, fairly and not favor one to the detriment of the others.

I and many, many others thank you for supporting my campaign.  If you haven’t decided who your vote will support this site and my campaign are for you.  If you don’t think that you or your vote can make a difference, I offer my experiences with our County Government as encouragement.  If you are not old enough to vote, my election is really about your future so, discuss the articles and other information with your parents and friends.  Yes, we can build a better future by changing our Board of County Commissioners.

I want to be your next Hillsborough County Commissioner for District 2.  If you live in or near the Westchase, Citrus Park, Keystone, Carrollwood, Lutz, Temple Terrace, New Tampa, Tampa Palms, Thonotosassa or Seffner areas I would be honored to have your vote on August 26, 2008.
